Our signature hand-beaded top is a work of art and client favorite. We lengthened the traditional sari crop top to waist level to create a South Asian-influenced top to suit the modern, Western lifestyle. This monochromatic black beaded piece can be worn year-round as an elegant vest or a jacket; ready to crown a wide variety of outfits for Eid, Friday Prayers, Holy Month of Ramadan, and iftar parties during Ramadan.
Design
This prestige top has the right amount of ornamental weight to it, hand-beaded by artisans at a 4th generation, family-run embroidery house that serves royalty and the world’s top designers. The eye will first be drawn to the dazzling Mandarin collar atop a lotus flower design, the opening bloom symbolizing a woman coming into her power. Below the beads, a luxurious silk lining caresses the skin, so it is a delight to wear with or without a halter top or tee. A sheer round neckline offers a modest glimpse of the undergarment collar.
Versatility
The hidden black zipper transforms the top into a jacket (back zip) or vest (front zip). It can be as sexy or modest as you care to make it; we love the way actress Jillian Murray (Code Black) wears it here.
